Iran, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan to construct joint railway: Salehi

Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said on Sunday that Islamic Republic of Iran, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan will take part in a joint project for construction of a railway connecting cities in three countries to each other, IRNA reported.
Upon his arrival in Ashgabat Airport, Foreign Minister Salehi told reporters that construction of the railway will play an important role in boosting trade transactions of three countries.

Over 300 workers evacuated as fire breaks out at Kazakh mine
ASTANA, April 27 (RIA Novosti)
More than 300 people were evacuated on Wednesday from the Kostenko coalmine in Central Kazakhstan's Karaganda Region, the republic's emergencies ministry said .
"A total of 319 people have been evacuated. No casualties have been reported," the ministry said in a statement.

Max Petroleum signs rig contract for Kazakh exploration program
